Juventus coach Zaccheroni: Inter Milan saved Italian football

Juventus coach Alberto Zaccheroni has hailed Inter Milan's Champions League victory over Chelsea.

Juve go to Fulham tonight defending a 3-1 lead from the first-leg of their Europa League tie.

Zac said: “It was a great victory for Italian football, not just because it takes Serie A into the final eight and relaunches our sport on the international stage, but also in the way it was achieved.

“We care a great deal – I underline, a great deal – about getting through to the next round. We cannot start making a list of what is more important, so we’ll face every game with extreme conviction.”

One of the only favorable comments about Mourinho from Serie A.

He gives the league publicity and credibility and this victory even enables them to keep a from losing a CL slot to the Bundesliga. Incredible how much bad publicity he gets.
