Jordan insists Tottenham’s Crouch going nowhere
Submitted by Anonymous on Mon, 08/09/2010 - 19:00
Tottenham assistant manager Joe Jordan is dismissing reports that England striker Peter Crouch could be sold this summer, with Liverpool a suggested destination.
It had been reported that Crouch could be offloaded by the White Hart Lane outfit to help finance a deal for Frenchman Loic Remy.
However, Jordan insists the club have no plans to let him leave without a fight.
"We had a lot of competition when we brought Peter in and he has done very, very well," explained Jordan.
"I don't think we will let him go too easily. He is a player that has proved himself at Tottenham."
