Johnson making waves with Chicago Fire
Young goalkeeper Sean Johnson is coming along with leaps and bounds with Chicago Fire.
The 21-year old was given his first MLS start just over a month ago and has been impressive ever since but he is preferring to play things down and just go about his business.
“I think I was lucky to get an opportunity to play,” said Johnson. “My first game was away at L.A., and since then I have been training hard and working to make the saves that keep the team in games, so we can come away with three points.”
Johnson is eligible to play for Jamaica but after being a part of the USA U20 team, is keen to represent his country of birth.
“I played in the U-20 World Cup and I was happy with that. I was born in the U.S.A. I strive to play for the U.S. national team one day. I hope that opportunity comes,” he added.
