Juventus619 - Seria A is a complete joke,
all teams (including Inter and Milan) are poor to say the least. In case you have'nt noticed, their are at least 4 teams in the Premier League trying to get 4th place, competition thats lacking (with the possible exception of Spain) throughout Europe. Its just sour grapes from a person who has their head in the sand. The Premier League is better in every way compared to Italy, a certain Mr Ancelotti saying something along those lines at least. You do however make one good point, in that Chelsea provide the best entertainment!
The Truth of the Matters is...
Spurs played excellent football and Wigan defended like a pub team or worse. The defense (particularly the left-back) was ripped to shreds by Lennon, he just didn't know what to do with the trickery and pace of Lennon. Lennon was able to whip in cross after cross and the other defenders like Bramble were like the keystone cops, making the matter even worse. A more realistic score line would be 4-0 (if you disallow the hand ball) because five of the goals were easily preventable in my humble opinion...as a defender, you can't stand off of players like Lennon and Defoe and not be punished...if you set an offside trap, don't keep a striker on-side especially if he has pace...when defending corners, please try and stay goalside.
It's so simple.
This is ridiculous
I cannot believe I am hearing anything but praise for a Tottenham attackin display that was one of the best I have seen in my lifetime - AND I'M AN ARSENAL FAN! And Juventus690 what your saying is bizarre as the Serie A is undoubtedly one of the worst leagues in the world - no fan passion (except with knives) and incredibly slow football - hence why none of them can make it in the EPL. And on the amount of goals just look at Bacelona last year, they were winning matches 6-0 and 6-1 all the time and scored a ludicrous amount of goals in the season - La Liga is a league in which differences in skill between the big2 and everyone else is much more prevalent than the EPL.
