Ipswich boss Keane: I'll turn it around, just like Sir Alex at Man Utd

Ipswich boss Roy Keane refuses to panic after their dismal start to the season.

Citing his former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson, Keane insists: "I'm absolutely certain things will change.

"Even great managers like Sir Alex, Jose Mourinho and David Moyes, trust me, they've all had difficult spells.

"I don't want to be patronising to the fans but, hopefully, they are intelligent enough to understand what we are doing and to have a bit of faith in me.

"Of course, they are not going to be happy with results but if ever the players needed the supporters behind them it is now. It's important we stick together.

"I still believe we can have a successful season and we'll look back on this period and realise how important it was that we did stick together.

"As long as the players keep working extremely hard it is bound to turn. We'll be okay. If we didn't have the effort I would be concerned but that's not the case.
