Inter Milan see breakthrough in talks for Liverpool attacker Kuyt

Inter Milan are locked in talks with Liverpool for attacker Dirk Kuyt.

Corriere dello Sport says while Inter remain keen on Reds midfielder Javier Mascherano, they have made progress in negotiations for teammate Kuyt.

With Real Madrid wing-back Royston Drenthe declaring he was close to joining Liverpool, the development is seen as a breakthrough for Inter in talks for Kuyt.

Drenthe is seen as a replacement for Kuyt and Inter insiders are now convinced a deal can now be struck.

The truth is.....

He is not joining Liverpool. Someone on facebook posed as Royston & indicated his desire to join Liverpool. The story is then believed by Belfast Telegraph who are gullible to print a story about it.
