Inter Milan president Moratti insists Messi not on agenda
Submitted by tribalfootball.com on Wed, 12/02/2009 - 01:22
Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has backed away from claims he remains determined to land Barcelona star Lionel Messi.
Barca president Joan Laporta claimed last week that the deal for Zlatan Ibrahimovic was kicked off during the summer after Moratti asked about buying Messi.
However, after the Argentine was named Ballon d'Or winner yesterday, Moratti said: "He deserved to win, he's very good. I'm happy for him.
"But het's not my dream (signing)."
