Inter Milan boss Mourinho named Coach of the Year

Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho has been named Coach of the Year in Italy.

The awards, known as Italy's football 'Oscars', reflected performances in the 2008/2009 campaign, when Mourinho led Inter to a fourth successive Scudetto. Former Inter striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic received the top player accolade.

Inter president Massimo Moratti said on Sportitalia of Ibrahimovic's triumph: "It is a great pleasure because I love him and I hope he succeeds in Barcelona as he did here in Milan.

"Ibrahimovic has given us two or three championships. I hope he does well in Barcelona, except when he meets us."
