Inter’s Milito expects to hit top form soon

Inter Milan striker Diego Milito expects those who played at the World Cup will hit top form soon.

The Argentine admits the tournament in South Africa has made the start of the Serie A and Champions League season difficult but is of form belief that things will get better soon.

“It is a physical issue, but also one of sharpness after the long season and the World Cup,” he said after the 2-2 Champions League draw with FC Twente.

“Those of us who arrived later did not get to train much in pre-season and immediately went into friendly games. I think soon enough we’ll reach form.

“Without hard work, you get nowhere, so we need to always work together as a team in order to deserve the same success we had last season.”
