Icelandic U21 international Alfred Finnbogason will reportedly trial with West Bromwich Albion.

Icelandic U21 international Alfred Finnbogason will reportedly trial with West Bromwich Albion.

The young striker, who is currently with Icelandic club Breidablik, is attracting interest from a number of clubs around Europe and is presently on trial with Belgian outfit Genk.

Breidablik chairman Einar Kristjan Jonsson hinted that Finnbogason would be given a trial by West Brom after he finished with Genk and before heading for a short stint with Norwegian club Viking.

It has also been reported that the striker, who has netted 13 times in 18 appearances this season, is attracting interest from Swedish club Malmo.
