Houllier considers ex-Liverpool pair Hamann, McAllister for Villa roles

Gerard Houllier is expected to stick with a Liverpool connection for his new assistant manager.
The Daily Mail says Gary McAllister and Didi Hamann are the new favourites now Phil Thompson has turned down the position.
Hamann is player coach at MK Dons, while McAllister is available.
