Blackpool boss Ian Holloway is excited by their capture of England U19 winger Matt Phillips.
The former Wycombe Wanderers midfielder made his Pool debut in the friendly defeat Latvia's Jelgava last week.
"Matty Phillips looked really exciting at times against Jelgava, skipping past people like they're not there," Holloway told the club's website. "I've got to get him working in our shape and he's definitely one for the immediate future and the long-term future. I'm getting quite excited at what he might be able to produce."
