Hinkel: Old Firm clash not title decider
Celtic defender Andreas Hinkel denies defeat in the Old Firm derby at Ibrox on Sunday would end their SPL title hopes.
Failure to win against Rangers at the third attempt this season would leave the Hoops 10 points behind and having played a game more.
"A victory would be great," Hinkel said.
"The gap would be closer, just four points and the title race would be open.
"Defeat would be horrible for us but the race wouldn't be over because there are more games to play.
"After the game the SPL couldn't decide to stop the league.
"We have to play 11 games more and so it is not finished yet.
"You always have to play until the last game or until you don't have a chance any more.
"But I'm positive, I'm not thinking of losing the game, I'm thinking of winning the game."
