Hiddink rejected Man City as Hughes was still in job

Guus Hiddink rejected Manchester City's approach as Mark Hughes was still manager last week, it has been revealed.
The Daily Telegraph says City planned to remove Hughes last week and had approached Hiddink before then offering the job to Roberto Mancini.
However Hiddink — like Jose Mourinho — felt that City’s behaviour was inappropriate, especially as Hughes was still in place, and decided against conducting any negotiations.
Hiddink has not decided on his future, although his agent is claiming that he will sign the two-year contract extension he has been offered by Russia. He has been linked with a return to Chelsea.
