Harry Arter ready to make Bournemouth debut against former club Charlton
New Bournemouth midfielder Harry Arter is excited about the prospect of facing former club Charlton Athletic tomorrow for the League One season opener.
Arter dropped out of the Football League after being released by Addicks, but his form at Woking won him a summer move to Bournemouth.
"You couldn’t write it really! When I signed for Bournemouth, the Charlton game was one I was really looking out for at the Valley for obvious reasons. So for it to be the first game is unbelievable," Arter told tribalfootball.com.
Bournemouth's following game is against Southampton, where Alan Pardew, who worked with Arter at the Addicks, is now in charge.
Arter added: "Southampton is a big game too and one I was looking forward to just because of the size of the club and for personal reasons my relationship with their manager. That aside though, I'm a Bournemouth player and we’ll be going there trying to get results."
