Harrisburg City Islanders’ Sheanon Williams has been offered a contract by MLS outfit Philadelphia Union.

The 20-year old right-back was recently on trial with New York Red Bull but after his time with the club finished, was offered a deal with the Union and is set to undergo a medical.

Williams told the NY Post that he will have the medical this week before signing a deal.

Another recent New York trialist, Cape Verde attacking midfielder Wuilito Fernandes, did not receive an offer or a rejection from the Red Bulls but has left to go on trial with Portuguese Championship club FC Arouca.
