Sheanon Williams has left USSF Division 2 club Harrisburg City Islanders to join its MLS affiliate Philadelphia Union.
The versatile 20-year old was on trial with New York Red Bull recently but was given an opportunity to join the Union to complete their 24-man roster.
Williams has represented the USA at two youth World Cups (Korea 2007 and Egypt 2009) and becomes the second player from Harrisburg to sign with the Union, following in the footsteps of JT Noone.
