Happier Pavlyuchenko now keen on Tottenham stay

Roman Pavlyuchenko admits he is now considering staying at Tottenham.

Just a few weeks ago, Pavlyuchenko was so convinced of his departure that he sold his second car and cancelled subscriptions to satellite TV channels.

"Now I'm only thinking about the rest of the season," he said. "Tottenham have a good chance of finishing in the top four, which is worth a place in the Champions League, so we shouldn't miss this opportunity.

"And we are fighting for the FA Cup. So when the season finishes in May, then I will think about the future.

"I'm not in a hurry to make responsible decisions, such as in February, when I was sure that I would leave."
