Hannover 96 midfielder Hanno Balitsch is interesting Birmingham City.

The People says Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish is lining up German midfielder Hanno Balitsch - from Bundesliga side Hannover 96.

McLeish has been chasing the 28-yearold - who becomes a free agent in the summer - for months and hopes to strike a cheap deal with Hannover next month.
