Griffiths eyeing further improvement with Central coast Mariners

Central Coast Mariners midfielder Rostyn Griffiths believes both he and the team can produce even more this season.

The former Blackburn Rovers man has made a big impression since joining the Mariners from North Queensland Fury but is adamant that individually he can improve just as the team can get better from a collective standpoint.

"I'm happy with my form but I think me and the team can keep getting better. We haven't had many matches lately so we are all looking forward to Saturday,” he said ahead of the meeting with Perth Glory tomorrow.

Griffiths is aware that the Mariners squad has a lot of depth, particularly in midfield, and knows he has to keep performing if he wants to be playing regularly.

“You don't play well one week and the next week someone else could take the position," he added.

"All successful clubs have that competition for spots. You've got to keep producing or someone else will."
