Graham: Wenger style will not win titles for Arsenal
Former Arsenal boss George Graham's says Arsene Wenger's team do not play title winning football.
The Scot admits he is baffled by Arsene Wenger's stubborn refusal to add a touch of realism to his team's beautiful football.
Arsenal go to Chelsea on Sunday still reeling from their brutal 3-1 home beating by Manchester United.
And Graham, Highbury boss for nine years, told The Sun: "Arsenal have a major problem in the big games and are being beaten comprehensively by their main rivals.
"Arsene Wenger is a great believer in total football. He loves the way Barcelona play and I think he wants Arsenal to evolve that way.
"But there is a big question mark over whether you could ever do that in English football.
"When Arsene came to Arsenal he had great success based around players with technique, athleticism, power, intensity and aggression.
"So the question I'd love to ask him now is, 'Why have you changed that philosophy?'
"Looking at United's back four last Sunday, I thought Arsenal had a real chance of beating them. But, boy, was I wrong. Arsenal just didn't have the same intensity as United.
"In all their recent games against United and Chelsea, Arsenal have been beaten comprehensively. It's not a one-off. It's been happening regularly."

lol and does it mean i support 2 teams? i'm just defending these 2 teams because of what you, this little 10-year-old *****, have said about them. okay liverpool's 200m debt isn't heavy huh??? it's cos of this mentality of yours where liverpool debt will rise. i hope the owners of liverpool who 'run the club properly' don't have that mentality. complacent immature *****. stop taking things for granted. 200m debt isn't little dude.
and now when liverpool's doing badly, you say you expected them to do badly. nice excuse huh? i bet before the season you thought they'd be champions. grow up young boy. yeah they are in transition everyone knows that. and so is arsenal. so why the hell do you bad-mouth arsenal for not doing well? again it shows your immaturity.
by the way do you even have parents?
before this season started, i already expect Liverpool not to do so well because they are in a transition period. the new players need time to gel, and after xabi left they need to adapt to a new style. However i am 100% sure that Liverpool would be in the top 4 come end of the season. so why should i worry?
well ManUre took 26 years to win the title, Arse-anal took 100 years and still did not managed to win a single Champions League. Liverpool being a bigger and more successful club than ManUre & Arse-anal, did u seriously think it will take 100 years for Liverpool to win an EPL?
btw does being a supporter of 2 teams makes u a half-wit?
nice comeback r2tard, u call it "weak statements" just becoz u have no answer to what i said. u realise what i said hurts u sooo much becoz its the truth.
ManUre - 800m in debts
Liverpool - 200m in debts
its u who need to learn some facts.
