Gow only out to impress Motherwell boss
Alan Gow insists he does not have a point to prove after signing a short-term deal at Motherwell.
The forward believes the only person he needs to impress is new boss Craig Brown as he bids to force his way into the manager's plans.
Gow signed a six-month contract after passing a medical, having also been linked with moves to Swindon, St Mirren and Kilmarnock.
"I don't think I've got a point to prove," he said. "I've done it before in the Premier League so I just need to show that I can do it again. It's good to sort my future out and hopefully I can get back playing as soon as possible.
"I've just been keeping myself fit and waiting to sign somewhere eventually. I'm just looking forward to playing now. I spoke to a few clubs. But I've probably made a few moves that I shouldn't have and this time I wanted to take my time making a decision and find somewhere that suited me."
