Gold Coast United keeper Moss determined to turn draws into wins
Gold Coast United goalkeeper Glen Moss knows how important it is for the team to notch up a win this weekend.
United take on North Queensland Fury in Townsville on Sunday after two nil-all draws and the New Zealand international believes it is time to turn those one pointers into three.
“It is time for a win," Moss said. "This is the weekend to do it.
"We've played a few hard teams lately - Adelaide are on top and Heart are now getting on a role - and draws are a good result against them away from home but now we've got to start banging in some goals at the other end."
Moss admitted that United had a brilliant defensive set up but was hoping for some efficiency from the team’s attackers.
"It is great defensive unit, probably the best in the league at the moment with Michael Thwaite and Dino Djulbic. We are looking very solid at the back, we just need to get some attacking plays going and score some goals," he added.
