Gold Coast coach Bleiberg not writing off Sydney
Gold Coast United coach Miron Bleiberg is remaining cautious of a wounded Sydney FC outfit after holding the reigning A-League champs to a 1-1 draw yesterday.
Beliberg’s United managed to hold on to a point despite having defender John Curtis sent off with about 20 minutes to go but insists that the Sky Blues are too good to write off even though they are sitting at the foot of the table.
"Sydney is a good side and I think all the critics that say they will not be around in the finals at the end of the day are making a big mistake," he said.
"I know that Sydney are probably more disappointed than we are but I know they are a good side.
"I believe they will do well in the next two games (against North Queensland Fury and Adelaide United) and they will be back in the frame."
