Garrido eyeing fresh chance at Man City

Javier Garrido is eyeing a first team return at Manchester City.

With Wayne Bridge undergoing a hernia op, the Spanish left-back is expected to be back in action this weekend against Fulham.

"In the last few games we’ve seen other players slotting in at left-back when necessary, but hopefully I will get my chance to be involved in the team,” he told City's website.

"That gave me a lot of confidence and I think that showed through in my performances.“
