Chris Smalling says he's happy to play out the season with Fulham.

The young defender signed for the Cottagers at the end of last season from non-league Maidstone United and says he is happy to maintain his progress with the club's reserve-team.

Smalling told tribalfootball.com: "There is no rush to go out on loan, I’m happy with how things are at the moment, but obviously if the club tell me there is an offer which they are happy with then we’d have to see. But for the time being I’m just focused on trying to push for a place in the first team at Fulham.”
