Fulham, Stoke chasing Lewandowski

Lech Poznan striker Robert Lewandowski is wanted by Fulham and Stoke City.

The People says the 21-year-old has been compared to Liverpool's Fernando Torres after shooting his way into the Polish national side, with 33 goals in 60 starts in Poland's top flight.

His club are resigned to losing Lewandowski, the second-youngest player to score for his country.

Fulham, who are hoping to take Roma's Stefano Okaka on loan until the end of the season, could still move for Lewandowski as Bobby Zamora's shoulder injury has reduced their striking options.

Stoke boss Tony Pulis will monitor the situation while Tottenham have also looked at the youngster.
