French medical chief says Arsenal defender Gallas can make Barcelona clash

French medical chiefs believe Arsenal defender William Gallas will be fit for their Champions League quarterfinal against Barcelona.
Michel Gaillaud, a sports doctor treating Gallas at his rehabilitation centre in France, says the Frenchman started running again last week and could be ready to kick a ball again this weekend, says the London Evening Standard.
Gallas has missed the last seven matches but his treatment is said to be going “very well” and he will return to London later this week.
Sol Campbell will continue to deputise against holders Barcelona should Gallas miss out although Wenger will have concerns about the 35-year-old's ability to play two high-profile games in just four days.
