French duo Elliot Grandin and Martin Malaury are delighted with their deals at Blackpool.

Grandin has joined from CSKA Sofia on a two year deal.

And at 22-years-old, he is relishing the chance of playing in the Premier League.

"I'm very happy to be here, I'm looking forward to the start of the season with the club," he told the Blackpool website. "The Premier League is the best Championship in the world so I'm very happy and I hope to have a great a season.

"I know the city makes a re-make of the Eiffel Towe but I don't know much else but I will learn in time! I'm looking forward to starting training but it's up to me now. I need to make the maximum and show to my manager what I can do.

"It will be great because the best players in the world play in the Premier League so that will be great and difficult too but I will make good preparations and I'll be ready. I can keep hold of the ball and I'll create opportunities for the guys in front of me, applying speed to the game out wide."

Fellow countryman Malaury, who is also known as Malaury Martin, has joined on a one year deal. The 21-year-old has been training with the club and featured in some of the games in Devon.

And he told the official site that he is delighted to have sealed his move.

He said: "I'm very happy to be here and I think I'm going to enjoy playing for Blackpool. I've been here one month now and the other players are good. I want to do my best in this good team. They are good players with a good mentality.

"I'm very excited to play in the Premier League, it's my dream. The manager is a very good man with a good mentality and I really like him which is very important for me.

"My formation in Monaco is the same as Blackpool which is important. I'm not the important one though, it's the coach, the players and the fans."
