Florentino: Guardiola could not handle Real Madrid locker room

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez believes Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola would struggle at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Perez doesn't believe Guardiola would "fit in" at Real.

He said: "Guardiola is a very competent coach and fits very well in at Barca, but he might not fit into the Real Madrid system.

"The players today are very powerful and need a strong manager with a track record ... Jose Mourinho is like a new force of nature.

"We would have taken him even if Inter Milan had not eliminated Barcelona from the Champions League."
