First partnership deal sees Chan Siu-ki head for Tottenham trial
Hong Kong international striker Chan Siu-ki is reported to be heading to Tottenham for a trial period next month, according to reports in the Far East.
Chan, who scored against the White Hart Lane outfit in a pre-season encounter, is expected to travel to north London for a 10-day stint in December.
Hong Kong champions South China and Tottenham agreed a club partnership earlier this week which will see an exchange programme put into place, while coaching methods will also be shared.
Tottenham executive director Paul Barber believes the partnership with South China will help the growth and development of both clubs.
He told the club's official website: "Tottenham Hotspur already has an established following in Hong Kong and given the history and success of South China they are a welcome partner.
"The agreement with South China is an exciting opportunity for the club to grow in a key commercial market."
