A lack of first team football has lead to Fiorentina strikers Giampaolo Pazzini and Pablo Osvaldo asking for moves away.

The in-form duo of Adrian Mutu and Alberto Gilardino has frozen out Pazzini and Osvaldo with Fiorentina's sporting director confirming their requests.

Pantaleo Corvino told Corriere Dello Sport: “I can safely say that both Pazzini and Osvaldo have asked to move on.

“I understand their needs and we will have to give careful consideration to the situation.

“But we are still the same Fiorentina and we won't be giving our players away.”
