Fiorentina are preparing a bid for Valencia fullback Miguel.

Florence sources say Fiorentina sports chief Pantaleo Corvino has put £3 million aside to bid for the Portugal international in January.

Miguel was put up for sale over the summer, but no offer arrived that satisfied Valencia's board.
