Ferrara: Juventus problems not my fault
Submitted by tribalfootball.com on Sun, 09/19/2010 - 04:43
Ciro Ferrara insists Juventus' failures last season weren't all his fault.
The former Coach was fired in January, but matters have barely improved under Alberto Zaccheroni or Gigi Del Neri.
“When I arrived at Juventus, some deals had already been done. For example, Fabio Cannavaro, who I did not object to, and Diego,” Ferrara told the Corriere dello Sport.
“For me Diego has undoubted talent and quality, but he needs a team built around him to work properly. I don’t think it’s possible to make him adapt to a system different from the one he suits best.”

Who is weak JUVE????. Keep yourself anonymous cause your a TOOL!. FORZA JUVE!.
With all respect to Ferrara how can he say Diego needs the team built around him in one breath and then say Juve were wrong to sell him? Del Neri plays 4-4-2, Diego could fit in it, but it certainly isn’t a formation built around him. The new formation uses wide players to create. Note Krasic has set up 2 goals in each of his last 2 league games. Many have also said Amauri is better suited to service from out wide. So I think it boils down to having $25m Euro invested in a player that wasn’t perfectly suited to this formation and needing funds to bring in players that we needed for a 4-4-2 and also to replace the garbage we had last season.
diego is a talentless donkey.....the team is weak no manager can change that
