Fernandes commits to Valencia cause after Inter Milan breakdown

Valencia midfielder Manuel Fernandes insists the club can count on his commitment after his failed move to Inter Milan on the weekend.

Fernandes missed out on a transfer to Inter due to a failed medical.

"My commitment is the same as the first day I arrived here. I tried to find accommodation at another club that would allow me to play more and it was a good option for everyone, but now I have already forgotten about them," said the former Everton midfielder.

"I am totally focused on helping the team here.

"I want to play as soon as possible if the coach wants me. I feel a player appreciated by fans, who have always shown great support towards me."
