Ferguson happy to send Man Utd youth team to Milk Cup

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is happy for the club's youth team to continue competing in the Milk Cup.

Just hours after his team had eclipsed AC Milan in the Champions League this week, the Old Trafford boss received a presentation from tournament chairman Victor Leonard to mark United's 21 years of competition at one of Europe's most prestigious youth championships.

"It's a huge success story," said the Manchester United boss.

"The quality of the competition is impressive and it has helped provide a valuable education for many of our young players over the years."

United will bid to land a third consecutive title in July and a fifth overall.
