FC Twente manager Michel Preud’homme says his side is not feeling the pressure ahead of their Champions League opener against reigning champions Inter Milan.

The Dutch title holders take on Inter at home in the Group A opener and Preud’homme insists that there is no extra pressure on his team.

"For us there is no pressure or stress," he said. "Twente has acquired plenty of experience in cup competitions, playing various important matches in the Europa League. Obviously the level of the Champions League is different but our confidence remains the same.

“The Dutch championship remains our daily bread because it allows us to compete in Europe again next season. The Champions League is an extra, we cannot become arrogant after just one year."
