FC Tokyo’s Nagatomo on verge of Cesena deal

FC Tokyo defender Yuto Nagatomo is on the verge of signing with Italian outfit AC Cesena.

The 23-year old Japan international has been recently linked with a move away from the J-League and sources close to him have revealed that a deal with the promoted Serie A club was very close.

Nagatomo impressed for the Blue Samurai at the World Cup in South Africa, playing every minute of all four matches.

The versatile defender has been with FC Tokyo since 2007.
