Ex-Tottenham boss Pleat reveals Chelsea trump card in appeal
In his column for the Daily Mail, Pleat wrote: "One thing about the Chelsea case puzzles me, though. For a player to play in another nation's league, there has to be a signature from the secretary of the selling club and a clearance certificate from that national association.
"There must have been a Lens signature. That could give Chelsea something to cling to at their appeal."
