Ex-Real Madrid boss Pellegrini keen on Liverpool job

Manuel Pellegrini is being linked with the vacant manager's job at Liverpool.

The Daily Mail says axed Real Madrid boss Pellegrini could be a contender to replace Rafa Benitez at Anfield.

The Chilean is understood to be keen on working in the Barclays Premier League and is already said to have offers from England, Turkey and Italy.

He was considered for the No2 role at Manchester United by Sir Alex Ferguson after Carlos Queiroz's departure.
