Ex-Hull chairman Duffen: Brown broke record after record

Former Hull City chairman Paul Duffen says no-one can take away the achievements made by Phil Brown.

Brown was placed on gardening leave by the current board yesterday.

Duffen believes the club are likely to already have Brown's successor "pencilled in" and added: "It's a sad, sad day in many ways but the stuff that Phil achieved at Hull City will always live in the record books, so many firsts."
