Ex-Chelsea midfielder Morris backs Celtic bid for Arsenal veteran Campbell
Submitted by tribalfootball.com on Thu, 07/01/2010 - 04:22
Jody Morris has backed Celtic's push for Arsenal defender Sol Campbell.
Morris insists luring Campbell to the SPL would be a major coup for new Celtic boss Neil Lennon.
The St Johnstone skipper and one-time Chelsea midfielder, 31, said: "Sol would be a great signing if they can pull it off.
"There's definitely plenty of life left in him. He proved that at the top level last season with Arsenal.
"I'm sure Celtic will have rivals from England for him, so it would be quite a coup for Neil Lennon if he can get him signed up."
