Ex-Birmingham chief Brady backs St Andrews naming rights sale

Former Birmingham City managing director Karren Brady can't see a problem with the naming rights of St Andrews being sold.

Discussing Mike Ashley's plans to sell the rights of St James' Park, Karren said in her diary for The Sun: "I sold sponsorship for everything that moved at St Andrew's and lots of things that didn't - including my briefcase when I first took over.

"Maybe I'd have quashed, say, St Andrew's Liver Salts but I can't see much wrong with Jaguar St Andrew's Stadium. After all, what's in a name? But it would be a brave chairman who did a deal with Winalot."

it's surprising that brady didn't do a deal to sell the naming rights and get a monthly cheque for it for the next 5 years, fortunately for us the sullivan mouthpiece has gone and i pity any club if they ever let her in to castrate their fans like shes systematically done to us .

How about this... ***** Brady.

the owners have just come in and want to get fan's back so why the hell would they risk the wrath of the fans by re-naming the stadium? to be honest i did not even think it was a issue until that idiot ashley turned it into a debate. renaming the stadium would offer no benefit to blues because we are looking to move away and to get a bigger ground.
