Ex-Arsenal trainee Zakuani happy with debut MLS season
The 21-year old Zaire-born attacking midfielder admits he started slowly with the Sounders but overall is pleased with his performance in his debut season.
"The first few games, it was good but maybe it wasn't consistent," he said of his play. "The more you play at this level, you get more confident. You get more used to the guys. I also had a little patch where I was little bit tight because it's a long season ... "
"It's been a great season, to be honest," Zakuani added.
"It's something where it's gone by fast but when I go home to London and look back on it, there's not much where I would look at and say, 'I wish this hadn't happened.'
“We won a trophy. We have a shot at the playoffs. I've played in almost every game, whether starting or not and at times I've made an impact on the game. You can't ask for more than that."
