Ex-Arsenal defender Gallas keen on Celtic move

Off contract Arsenal defender William Gallas is eyeing a move to Celtic.

The Herald says senior sources at Celtic Park last night confirmed that the former Chelsea defender, whose contract with Arsenal ran out at the end of the season, has been in touch with them.

However, the 32 year-old’s representatives have also been in contact with a handful of other clubs across Europe, including Juventus, Malaga and Panathinaikos.

Gallas’ defensive partner at the Emirates, Sol Campbell, is also out of contract, and has already been offered a two year-deal by Celtic.
