Adelaide United’s latest hero Iain Ramsay says there are no egos at the club and is loving being a part of a close-knit group.

Adelaide United’s latest hero Iain Ramsay says there are no egos at the club and is loving being a part of a close-knit group.

The 22-year old former Sydney FC man, who netted twice in the Reds’ 3-2 win over Melbourne Heart on Friday night, has revealed that all the players are on level terms under Rini Coolen and he is of firm belief it makes for a much better atmosphere.

“Since I've come to Adelaide we've just got a great team unity," Ramsay told the Adelaide Advertiser.

"There's not one player who thinks he's better than the other.

"Everyone is sticking together and everything we do is together. It was the same at Sydney - the players were second to none.

"In other teams you might get one or two players that stray away from the team, but at Adelaide and Sydney there is none of that - I haven't found that at all here."
