Everton striker Anichebe thrilled to be playing again
Everton striker Victor Anichebe admits he's thrilled to be playing again.
Anichebe made his long-awaited comeback against Sunderland last month, and has appeared as a substitute in the subsequent games at Wigan and Liverpool as well.
He told evertonTV: "It felt really strange, coming to the game and seeing my shirt up in the dressing room - because normally I’m coming to the game to say good luck to the rest of the boys.
"Seeing my shirt there, and seeing my boots there, it was strange. It was strange going to warm-up before the game.
"When the manager said I could go on – even though it was only for a minute or two – it was nice because the crowd were really good and they gave me a really good reception. It was touching in a way as well."
