Swansea City made history when they became the first Welsh club to gain promotion to the Barclays Premier League by virtue of the Championship playoff final in 2011. The Swans, who have now enjoyed two seasons in England's top flight, have won three League One (third division) titles, one League Two (fourth tier) title, two Football League trophies, 10 Welsh Cups and were also successful in the 2013 Football League Cup, producing a record 5-0 victory over Bradford City. They are managed by Danish great Michael Laudrup.
