Manchester City, also known as the Citizens is a professional football club in the City of Manchester. Manchester City were founded in 1880 as St Marks, it was not until 1894 that they were known as Manchester City. Manchester City play their home games at the City of Manchester Stadium in Manchester. They have received honours such as 2 Football League First Division titles, 7 football League second division/first Division titles, 4 FA cup titles, 2 League Cups, 3 Charity Shields and 1 European Cup Winners' Cup. Manchester City are currently without a manager after Roberto Mancini was sacked late in the 2013/13 season. Their arch-rivals are their city neighbours Manchester United.
