Cardiff City became just the second Welsh club, behind rivals Swansea City, to gain promotion to the Barclays Premier League after winning the Championship title in 2012/13. The Bluebirds have won one League One (third tier) and one League Two (fourth tier) title as well as the FA Cup and Charity Shield both in 1927. Cardiff are currently managed by former Manchester United striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
